Hello.

I’m Alexandra, a digital editor in New York City.

I specialize in editorial story development, craft styling, and creative direction.

In my career at Martha Stewart Living, I’ve collaborated with all kinds of creative people—writers, designers, party planners, and artisanal makers—to produce some of the most colorful and innovative content on the web. Think: baby showers, birthday parties, and celebrations for every occasion imaginable. (Our “Crochet and Rosé” crafternoon cocktail party is my new favorite.)

I love all things DIY, home, and holiday. (Hence my obsession with Halloween costumes, Easter eggs, and upcycled home décor projects.) And I’ve spent years learning from the best to realize the next big trend. That includes asking Bette Midler about her Halloween costume, talking shop with the founders of the Echo Park Craft Fair, attending the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, and learning Marie Kondo’s technique for folding socks. I’m always ready to tackle a new project in studio or behind the computer screen. One highlight: I spent a summer hand-crafting over 300 ornaments for a photo shoot of six Christmas trees. Check some of them out here, if you’re already counting down the days like me.
